Amalia Avia spent his childhood and early youth between Madrid and the people, marked by pain of the war. His career as a painter began in the 50s in the study of Eduardo Peña in Madrid. Meet the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid, many of his friends and later co- generation Antonio López García , Julio Hernández López Francisco López Hernández , Isabel Quintanilla, Esperanza Parada , Carmen Laffon , Joaquín Ramo, Enrique Gran and Lucio Muñoz , with whom he married in 1960 ... he held his first solo exhibition at the gallery Fernando Fe de Madrid. In 1964 enters the legendary Gallery Juana Mordo , and in 1972 in the Biosca Gallery , both in Madrid . Participates in numerous exhibitions on the Spanish realism worldwide ... In 1978 he was awarded the Goya Award Villa de Madrid. In 1992 a major exhibition ( " Another reality . Partners in Madrid " ) on the group of friends, both realistic and abstract that arose around the Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando ...
