Das Thema Digitale Filmproduktion mittels Motion Control Technik wird anhand der durchgeführten Kurzfilmproduktion "neegeh" behan­delt. Aus den daraus gewonnenen Erfahrungswerten hinsichtlich der Planung, Produktion und Postproduktion von Motion Control Auf­nahmen in einer Greenbox zur Erstellung eines Digitalen Compositings mit animierter Umgebung, werden die Produktionsformate Digital Betacam, HDCAM und 35mm-Film miteinander verglichen. Ein Schwer­punkt wird auf die Verwendung eines Motion Control Systems in einer Greenbox im Hinblick auf die Postproduktion gesetzt, die Planung, Produktion und benötigte Datenerfassung für eine Kombination von Realaufnahmen mit computergenerierten Bildern betreffend. Die Gegenüberstellung von digitalem und klassischem Film bezüglich Technik, Ökonomie und Ästhetik ergänzen die beschriebene Vorge­hensweise und die gewonnenen Erfahrungswerte dieser Kurzfilm­pro­duktion. Behandelt wird die Erschaffung einer grundlegenden Aus­gangs­basis für eine erfolgreiche Postproduktionsphase, was v. a. hinsichtlich der Motion Control Aufnahmen ein wichtiges Thema dar­stellt.
