The Other Side of The Coin

The Other Side of The Coin Synopsis This is a story of a man raised in the mid-west, educated in a Catholic high school and indoctrinated with exceptional work habits. The story starts out in a Catholic household with nine children. The father was a factory worker and a devout religious parent. Still, he managed to bet the numbers which were common in those days. Amidst these beginnings, the subject of the book became exposed to the elements of risk, gambling, deal making and street survival techniques at an early age. His entire life -- from his boyhood days, time spent in the United States Army and subsequent career as a professional golfer opened many windows of opportunity and risk. Regis P Sauger combined hard work, honesty and perseverance throughout his career. His quest for the final deal or best deal was never realized. It was an act of God that created the culmination of the deal. Rose Ann Sauger, the wife of Regis Sauger persevered through all of the misfortunes and setbacks during their thirty-two years of marriage. This wonderful marriage was further enhanced by her encouragement and support. Many, times she would remind her husband that setbacks are not self-inflicted but merely a result of trying something that the average person would never try. Regis Sauger realized happiness and success when he was selected to complete the finish shaping of an Arnold Palmer golf course project in Orlando, Florida. A subsequent challenge to complete the World Marriott “Hawks Landing” facility in Orlando added to his dossier. The critics could no longer associate Regis Sauger with anything less than excellent work. Rose Ann demonstrated her love by encouraging her husband to take on these projects. The compensation factor was handsome. It was at this time that Rose Ann Sauger chided her husband, “it’s about time you got paid for your talent”. Immediately after completion of these two projects, Rose Ann Sauger fell ill and lost to lung cancer. The final chapter of this powerful book on human emotions, relationships and joy could never be fathomed. The day Rose Ann left this world, it was depicted in God’s words -- perhaps one of the most dramatic endings to any book. On the day of RoseAnn Saugers death the message on her tent calendar was “New Testament, Letters to Timothy (Our son is Timothy) I have fought the good fight, my cup runneth over”. Whether you’re an adolescent, a man still trying to strike it on his own or already established, this book will give you exceptional
