Further, women are perceived to be emotional and poor in decision making. The book also tells why males are preferred in the same. They receive support and co-operation from staff, something that female heads lack, ending up being demoralized. The book recommends that the community sensitization and gender awareness needs to be encouraged. This will change the community's attitude towards female headship.
