Auch mit meinem dritten Buch beschäftige ich mich mit dem Dichter Ernst Ortlepp (1800-1864). Nach einer kurzen Einführung folgt eine Auflistung von Ortlepps frühen Presseveröffentlichungen nach ihrem Erscheinungsdatum zwischen 1822 und 1830. Dazu habe ich die noch vorhandenen und mir zugänglichen Jahrgänge der Zeitschriften, Journale und Taschenbücher von 1820 bis 1830 durchgesehen und daraus die Gedichte und Essays dokumentiert und biete so dem Leser einen genauen Überblick über Ortlepps frühes Schaffen. Besonders interessant finde ich die Verweise auf Änderungen in seinem Gedicht "Zu dem Reformationsfeste von 1830". Fürchteten Dichter oder Redaktion die Zensur? Solche Gegenüberstellungen gewähren einen spannenden Einblick, wie Literatur und Poesie sich schon immer den äußeren Gegebenheiten anzupassen hatten.
