Lisa A. Radloff was born, raised, and continues to live in the Metro Detroit area. She was born within the Detroit riots of 1967. She has been writing since she can remember. She originally began writing just to write out painful events. She then began creating so-called aHallmarksa of her own to offset the expense of greeting cards. As the years have collected, she has made attempts to refine her poetic style. This book captures the refinement and exploration of her style while traveling through the times of her life. Her Uniqueness -She Was Her- is written in a style similar to a novel. However, it is poetry. She is a single mother to three children. When she finds moments allowing her to separate from her work-related responsibilities, she spends as many of them with her children as possible. She has been able to manage a more-than-full-time career and familyanot easily, but it has been done. She currently works in the field of behavioral health while continuing her education, which has been interrupted throughout her years of adulthood.
