The second one consists on making main characters of history out of those women that along with their parents, children, husbands, siblings and friends fought to change their country, but made it in a very different way: from the endearing place granted by the love for a cause, but mainly the one that is conferred to the loved ones that offer their lives to defend big causes. The main characters of this book embody and give voice to all those who built the history of a society with their own hands, through the facts that apparently are the most imperceptible, but actually the most significant: solidarity, constant presence, silent fight and, above all, the powerful bond that they maintain with their loved ones. Las mujeres del alba es una novela que a partir del asalto guerrillero al cuartel Madera en 1973, trata dos temas de fondo: por un lado el inicio de los movimientos armados en el México moderno; en ella está plasmado todo el pensamiento de aquellos jóvenes que combatieron y murieron por sus convicciones. El segundo consiste en hacer protagonistas de la historia a las mujeres que al lado de sus padres, hijos, esposos, hermanos y amigos lucharon por cambiar su país, pero lo hicieron de un modo muy distinto: desde el lugar entrañable que otorga el amor por una causa, pero sobre todo el que se confiere a las personas amadas que ofrendan su vida para defender grandes causas.
