Human Resource is the major and vital resource which operating the IT industry. This resource has a direct impact in the growth of the organization. Managing the Human Resource in an efficient way is a biggest challenge in the IT industry. To understand importance of Human Resource in the IT industry, it is necessary to study the HRD practices and variables influencing it. These variables influence the performance of Human Resource in the IT industry. To analyze it a study was conducted among the employees working with the IT industry. This study was conducted by using three different set of questionnaires framed by the experts. Then a correlation analysis, 't' test was found between the components of HRD variable versus demographical variables like Experience, Salary, etc., then results depicted with suitable discussion and Expert opinion has also been incorporated. The results of this study would certainly enhance the productivity of IT industry by improving the performance of Human Resource.<
